Who we are

About Stripe

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies - from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups - use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone's reach while doing the most important work of your career.

About the team

Stripe’s #1 operating principle is “users first”. As marketers, that means giving voice to our users; they’re our most knowledgeable, most sincere, and most valued advocates. You’ll join a global team of exceptional marketing professionals striving to enhance how Stripe shows up with current and prospective users, with partners, analysts, and other industry experts.

What you’ll do

Analyst Relations is a core pillar of Stripe’s enterprise marketing function. As Stripe accelerates its momentum in the enterprise, we’re looking for an experienced leader to set the direction for Analyst Relations at Stripe and build out a team to realize your vision.

Responsibilities

  • Craft a vision for Analyst Relations at Stripe that advances the company’s strategy and reflects stakeholders’ priorities

  • Define what success looks like and how you’ll measure it

  • Foster and strengthen relationships with relevant analysts

  • Own Stripe’s participation in analyst evaluations

  • Disseminate analyst insights

  • Identify and develop spokespeople (including executives and subject matter experts) and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver briefings and other analyst interactions

  • Manage budget, contracts, tools, etc. for the function

  • Build a team, over time, to execute your vision along with you. You’ll work through and with cross-functional partners to start, but over time, you’ll build out our AR function

Who you are

We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.

Minimum requirements

  • 15+ years of B2B technology experience including 10+ years of building and leading Analyst Relations teams

  • Proven ability to build strong collaborative working relationships with business partners and executives; you are seen as a trusted and objective advisor

  • People management experience and demonstrated success in building and leading high performing teams. Also comfortable being a player-coach—personally able to deliver the work while also building and managing a small team over time

  • Ability to deal effectively with ambiguity and thrive in an unstructured, fast-paced environment.

  • Has project-managed a major analyst evaluation (e.g. Magic Quadrant)

  • Exemplary written and spoken English

  • Strong references from the analyst community

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in Payments
