Position Summary
The GTM Finance Manager will be a key player in our Go-to-Market strategies' financial planning and analysis. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations, to provide financial insights and support for our GTM initiatives. The ideal candidate will be adept at financial modeling, analysis, and forecasting and have a strong understanding of how GTM strategies impact overall financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis:
Develop and maintain financial models to forecast revenue, costs, and profitability related to GTM initiatives.
Analyze GTM performance metrics and provide actionable insights to drive strategic decisions.
Prepare and present financial reports and analyses to senior management and key stakeholders.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
Collaborate with GTM teams to create and manage budgets for sales, marketing, and product launch activities.
Monitor budget adherence and provide variance analysis to identify and address financial discrepancies.
Strategic Support:
Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to evaluate the financial impact of new GTM strategies and initiatives.
Assist in developing business cases for new projects and investments, including cost-benefit analysis.
Performance Tracking:
Track and report on the effectiveness of GTM campaigns and initiatives, including ROI and other key performance indicators.
Identify trends and areas for improvement to optimize GTM performance.
Process Improvement:
Develop and implement financial processes and best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy in GTM financial planning and analysis.
Leverage data and analytics to drive continuous improvement in GTM financial strategies.
Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional departments to ensure alignment between financial goals and GTM strategies.
Provide financial training and support to non-financial team members as needed.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, focusing on GTM or related areas.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting techniques.
Experience with financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
5+ years of experience in SFDC or CRM systems.
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA).
Skills and Competencies
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
