Global Leave of Absence Administrator
The Opportunity:
The Global Leave of Absence Administrator is responsible for coordinating the end-to-end administration of all global leave requests. This role ensures accurate communication, timely processing, and strict adherence to internal policies and all applicable state, federal, and international regulations. The absence administrator provides a high-touch, employee-centric experience while partnering closely with cross-functional teams to maintain compliance and support complex and sensitive cases.
What You'll Be Doing:
Employee Support
Serve as a primary point of contact for employee leave inquiries, promptly responding to emails, Slack messages, and internal tickets.
Provide clear and empathetic guidance to employees and managers on leave eligibility, timelines, required documentation, and next steps.
Support employees throughout their leave experience, including claim submissions, return-to-work coordination, and basic questions related to pay and time off.
Leave Processing & Administration
Assist with the end-to-end administration of leave requests, ensuring timely processing and accurate application of internal policies and statutory requirements.
Coordinate leave details across applicable plan types and ensure appropriate leave tracking and documentation.
Maintain accurate and timely leave records in Workday HRIS to support reporting, audits, and payroll processing.
Partner with payroll to review leaves of absence and projected payroll results.
Compliance & Collaboration
Follow established leave policies and compliance guidelines, escalating complex or sensitive cases
Collaborate with People Business Partners, Legal, Payroll, and other internal teams to support consistent leave administration.
Contribute to maintaining internal resources such as knowledge articles, templates, and process documentation.
Vendor & Process Support
Support day-to-day coordination with external leave vendors, including monitoring case status and resolving basic discrepancies.
Assist with process improvements, system updates, and documentation efforts as directed.
Benefits Administration
Support Benefits team with administrative functions and processing
What Makes You a Great Fit:
Must be located in either Central or Eastern time zone in the US
3+ years of experience administering end-to-end employee leave programs
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail; ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently follow through
Demonstrated commitment to the proper handling, protection, and confidentiality of sensitive employee and health information
Ability to work independently and apply sound judgment and creative problem-solving to manage complex and evolving processes
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience collaborating cross-functionally with diverse, remote stakeholders
Experience working in remote and/or international environments, coordinating effectively across time zones and regions
Customer-focused mindset with a demonstrated passion for delivering a best-in-class employee experience
Adaptable and resilient, with the ability to pivot quickly in response to changing policies, technologies, and business needs
Process-oriented, with experience documenting, maintaining, and improving workflows, procedures, and operational structures

Compensation & Rewards
In the US, the hourly rate for this role is $36/hr - $38/hr. Actual compensation may vary based on level, experience, and skillset as assessed throughout the interview process.
