Position Summary:
The Global Events Project Specialist supports Pax8 Tier 1 Events by coordinating logistics of the Beyond events globally. They support and coordinate updates and build of the Beyond Go-to-Market strategy, project manage program tasks, and handle miscellaneous event logistics. This role supports the Senior Manager of Global Events in achieving Pax8’s overarching goals and initiatives.
Essential Responsibilities:
Assist in the coordination of the Pax8 Beyond Events, including coordinating internal and external meetings, managing project timelines, managing vendor sponsor logistics, internal communication announcements, preparing presentation materials, conducting practice sessions, and providing customer service support for inquiries.
Work cross-departmentally and cross-time zones with all stakeholders involved to capture and execute on global event objectives, that contribute to the organization’s overarching initiatives.
Collaborate with Pax8 Marketing partners (includes but not limited to Marketing Operations, Content/Design, Program Management, Segment Marketing, Field Marketing) to build and organize all associated campaign details for Beyond Events.
Revise and uphold pre- and post-program documents/resources, encompassing tasks such as updating the event calendar, tracking metrics and budget allocation, and managing documentation for internal and external attendees.
Analyze existing processes to pinpoint areas for improvement and develop processes aimed at optimizing project efficiency and enhancing event outcomes.
Manage creation of event content and marketing assets (e.g., email/landing page templates, presentation deck, post-event resources, etc.), aligning event strategy with business partners' goals.
Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:
At least one (1) year of experience at Pax8 (for internal candidates only).
At least three (3) years of event coordination or other relevant program and project management experience.
Microsoft Office experience required, with heavy emphasis on Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
Proactive and ambitious attitude necessary.
Immaculate attention to detail with the ability to be organized and process focused. Proficiency in project management applications is required to effectively manage tasks and streamline workflows.
Ability to build partnerships, prioritize projects and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.
Problem solving and critical thinking skills required. Candidate should possess ability to assess when to escalate issues to leadership and when to resolve independently.
Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
Ability to rebound from setbacks and adversity when facing difficult situations.
Ability to work and maintain organization across multiple time zones.
Ability to comfortably maneuver through and adapt to complex policy, process, and people-related organizational dynamics.
Ability to relate openly and comfortably with diverse groups of people.
Required Education & Certifications:
B.A./B.S. in related field or equivalent work experience
Compensation:
Qualified candidates can expect a compensation range of $64,000 to $80,000, or more depending on experience.
Expected Closing Date: 11/06/2024
