Arcserve’s Digital Sales Leader will partner closely with marketing and sales to generate qualified leads for the sales organization through use of technology and digital systems and tools. This role plays a vital role for Arcserve by improving efficiency, reliability and scaling our global sales development organization. This individual will coach and develop a global team whose main responsibilities are outbound prospecting to uncover new opportunities and qualify inbound demand.

This role can be located remotely in the US or near our offices in Eden Prairie, MN or Draper, UT

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage global sales development team to drive growth for the company
  • Drive overall digital strategy for the global SDR team
  • Recruit, train, and develop a global team of sales development representatives (SDRs), along with team leads to drive an efficient and effective global model
  • Effectively qualify inbound demand to build strong pipeline generation that lead to real opportunities for the sales teams
  • Work with the marketing demand generation team to ensure that the right inquiries are flowing to the SDR teams and result in driving opportunities
  • Ensure opportunities are generated and sourced in accordance with company targets and goals
  • Partner Sales Leadership to develop campaigns that align to their regional goals based on a regional goals and objectives
  • Work closely with marketing resources to drive campaigns and use of internal information and data
  • Drive performance management and career development of the SDRs, fostering a team for future promotional opportunities
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Direct supervision of channel sales department.
    • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company's policies and applicable laws, including interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.


Required Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing or related field or equivalent combination of education and related work experience to meet the essential functions of the position
  • Experience leading, developing, and growing an outbound business development team
  • Eight (8) plus years of management experience/related experience
  • Eight (8) plus years of sales and/or customer facing experience
  • Software Industry knowledge related to channel management and software as a service (SaaS)
  • Ability to attract, retain, and motivate a team of strong sales development representatives (SDRs)
  • Strong digital sales background including tools, systems and processes
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven leadership and management experience

Preferred Job Qualifications:

  • Highly motivated self-starter and strategic thinker with the ability to work effectively in a demanding, challenging, and team-sales environment
  • Experience in the IT infrastructure / Datacenter, with experience in technology solutions, services, and industry knowledge in the storage, security, or data protection marketplace.
  • Process driven
  • Possess leadership competencies necessary to motivate teams to attain their goals
  • Proficient with MS Office tools
  • Experience working with Salesforce
  • Ability to gain access to decision makers and channel partners via phone
  • Demonstrated experience developing employees
  • Proven track record of building strong professional relationships
