Labcorp is seeking a US Remote Based Genetic Counselor to join our team to support a busy Maternal Fetal Medicine Practice in New York City.

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm eastern time zone

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide virtual prenatal genetic counseling services for MFM practice in New York

• Have the opportunity to provide direct patient care for a wide variety of complex indications from an extensive referral base

• Be able to engage in professional growth opportunities including writing abstracts and publications, physician education and other projects

• Have access to the expertise of a nation-wide organization of medical geneticists, biochemical and molecular geneticists, and over 100 counseling colleagues

Minimum Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Human Genetics or Genetic Counseling

• American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 years or more experience as a certified Genetic Counselor

• 1 year or more experience of prenatal or reproductive Genetic Counseling

Additional Job Standards:

• Genetic Counselor license in state of residence (if applicable)​

• Highly organized, including excellent time management skills

• Strong multi-tasking ability with excellent attention to detail

• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

• Strong computer skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office

**Pay Range: $85,000 - $120,000 / year   All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
