Job: Full Stack Ruby Engineer Reporting into: Staff Software Engineer Location: Remote (North America, South America, and Europe)
We are hiring experienced Full Stack Ruby developers to help us build the next-generation version of BKDR. The position is a full-time, 40hrs/week position.
What you'll do:
Develop with the latest technologies in evolving the architecture for current and future needs in order to develop innovative, consumer-facing mobile products, while supporting the product roadmap
Work in an agile team with Product, Design, Support, and Marketing to respond to our users needs
Help develop solutions end to end, from the design, to requirements, coding, refactoring, delivering, and maintenance
Be a good communicator with both a local and remote team
Team members will be expected to align to the working and pairing hours of their team in their respective regions. Our team writes code in pairs, and engineering teams screen-share with each other a minimum of 4 hours per day.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in computer science, related field, or equivalent practical experience
5-7+ years of software development experience
Experience using design and architecture patterns
Experience using Ruby on Rails, and React or JavaScript
Full stack knowledge of technologies like Ruby, and AWS would be highly desirable
Good sense of usability and product for web apps
Strong sense of ownership, ability to work independently, and proven track record of driving products
Data-driven mindset
Salary: $85,000-$130,000
