Anagram is the ultimate insurance billing platform for eye care providers. Combining instant eligibility and benefit verifications, patient responsibility calculation, claims management, payment posting, and more, Anagram's all-in-one revenue cycle management solution is designed to save providers time and money, and free doctors to deliver the best care for their patients. Founded in 2014, Anagram is the largest and fastest-growing insurance billing platform for eye care providers in America and processes hundreds of millions of dollars each year.

About the Role

This year, we are focused on building a consolidated insurance revenue cycle management platform that brings together disparate workflows into our single app. As a frontend engineer, you will develop and ship the UI for this platform. All your projects will have a major impact on the success of the company. We have a small but very experienced frontend team focused on delivery. You will be the third person on the team and your opinion will have a lot of weight on the coding standards, the app architecture and the project’s direction.

Tech Stack

  • Typescript monorepo, React, Apollo GraphQL, react-router, koa, styled-components, Storybook, Jest, Cypress, Webpack, Strapi, Docker, GitHub Actions.

Responsibilities

  • Create UI specifications for new features based on approved designs and decompose them into tickets

  • Build new features and maintain existing codebase

  • Provide suggestions to codebase evolution and frontend architecture

  • Implement best practices in QA to guarantee reliability of new features

  • Work closely with stakeholders to define project scopes, timelines, and deliverables

  • Collaborate with backend team to define necessary APIs and align release cycles

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of proven experience as a frontend engineer

  • Expert knowledge of modern versions of Typescript and JavaScript

  • Expert knowledge of React with hooks

  • Expert knowledge of HTML and CSS, building responsive layouts

  • Prior experience of configuring frontend toolchain eslint, tsc, webpack, codegenerators

  • Prior experience of writing unit and integration tests

  • Understanding of GraphQL type system and data normalization concepts

  • Understanding of UX/UI design principles. Design experience is a bonus

  • Ability to work independently and take significant responsibility
