Ro is looking for clinicians to join our medical review team and serve as medical researchers and reviewers on an as-needed, contract basis. Our medical reviewers ensure that all of our medical content is accurate and up-to-date. Their name and headshot will appear on every article they review and they will have a bio page on our website highlighting their experience.
What You'll Do
Review ~5 consumer-facing articles per month, ensuring that they are medically accurate and consistent with our best practices
Advise on clinical guidelines to inform new and updated articles
Vet sources used in articles
Recommend changes to ensure medical accuracy and work directly with our editors to update content to be medically sound
What You'll Bring to the Team
A passion for consumer-facing health content and medical accuracy
Experience working with blog or public-facing content
Experience reviewing sources (such as PubMed) and identifying appropriate journal articles
MD/DO/NP/PA/Pharm.D required
The target hourly rate for this position is $75-125/hour. When determining compensation, we analyze and carefully consider several factors, including location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. These considerations may cause your compensation to vary.
Ro recognizes the power of in-person collaboration, while supporting the flexibility to work anywhere in the United States. For our Ro’ers in the tri-state (NY) area, you will join us at HQ on Tuesdays and Thursdays. For those outside of the tri-state area, you will be able to join in-person collaborations throughout the year (i.e., during team on-sites).
