As a Financial Analyst focused on Headcount and Non-Labor Opex, you will have financial & strategic oversight for managing and optimizing significant investments Pinterest makes to develop, maintain and optimize the platform. This is a critical role that sits at the center of how Pinterest executes its technology and innovation strategy. You will play a key role in partnership with various Engineering, Product & Design leadership in governing our people and company investments, managing key vendor relationships and ensuring we can efficiently drive further enhancements and efficiencies at Pinterest. These teams and external partners are critical to enabling Pinterest to achieve its goals and roadmap.
What you’ll do:
Lead the end-to-end delivery of our core OPEX & HC forecasting & consolidation workstreams for the Engineering, Product & Design
Work in partnership with the Business Organization to optimize the allocation of resources across the several organizations
Own the delivery of monthly / quarterly financial reporting to Pinterest executives (e.g., CTO, CPO, and their direct reports)
Create dashboards to scale monitoring of key performance indicators and tools to drive business growth
Leverage superior financial modeling skills in order to deliver bespoke analyses for top-line growth & margin expansion initiatives
What we’re looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Accounting or Finance, or 3+ years of experience in corporate finance, FP&A, investment banking, or other related fields
Exceptional spreadsheet skills with experience creating financial dashboards and models
Excellent communication and presentation skills (Google Slides)
Business partnering experience working directly with the teams to drive the business forward and assist in making key decisions

In-Office Requirement Statement
We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means we're not always working in an office, but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection.
This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration 1-2 times every 6-months and therefore can be situated anywhere in the country.
