Reports to: Director, Corporate FP&A

A quick snapshot…

As a Financial Analyst on our Corporate FP&A team, you’ll manage, maintain, and continue to enhance our existing Alteryx data workflows relating to ARR (Annual Recurring Revenue). You’ll become the subject matter expert on how we can utilize Alteryx to enhance our current processes. You’ll also support with forecasting and reporting on top line financial metrics including ARR, bookings, billings, and revenue.

Why it’s a big deal…

The Corporate FP&A team provides valuable insights that influence decisions for leaders and the board. You’ll have the opportunity to take ownership and make an impact through providing accurate and timely insights on revenue, for The Revenue Company.

Are you the person we’re looking for?

Related experience. You’ve worked in finance and/or accounting roles for 2+ years, with exposure to ARR, bookings, billings, and revenue reporting, forecasting, and analysis. You’ve also had hands-on experience in Alteryx and Excel, and are comfortable working with large data sets in those tools. Maybe you’ve even completed an Alteryx certification.

Resourceful & Collaborative. At Conga, we achieve together-- when you have questions, you find answers; when you’re faced with challenges, you find solutions. You turn to a variety of resources, including your colleagues, professional network, Internet, articles, books -- whatever helps you get the job done. Then you apply that knowledge across the business where it makes sense.

Adaptable. You’re cool as a cucumber under pressure and thrive in a dynamic environment. You know how to stay organized and manage priorities as deadlines and initiatives change.

Initiative. You don’t wait around for things to happen or for your manager to tell you what to do. You’re not only proactive about completing your own work, but when you sense the need to introduce a project that will benefit the team or the organization -- even if it’s outside your scope of work -- you put a proposal together, talk to the team about it, and own it. And that also goes back to having an entrepreneurial spirit.

Quality oriented. You rarely make mistakes because you have good processes in place to ensure that every detail is correct. But in those rare occasions when errors are realized (let’s face it, it happens to the best of us from time to time), you own them, correct them, learn from them, and then quickly adjust and communicate processes to ensure the same mistake doesn’t happen twice. It’s your transparency, authenticity and humility is what sets you apart from the rest.

Here’s what will give you an edge…

Continuous learner. You’ve learned a lot in your career but that doesn’t stop you from wanting to keep learning. You’re eager to keep growing your skills and take the initiative to research new industry standards and best practices when the opportunity arises.

Confident and deliberate communicator. You have a point of view and you’re completely comfortable defending it to any person or group, regardless of level or status. It’s a confidence that comes from experience. And that’s not to say you aren’t open to different views; but, when you feel strongly about a particular matter, you don’t give up easily. You’re at ease with lively debate, in fact, you welcome it. Your points are clear and concise. And you’re equally as respected for your knowledge and expertise as for your style and approach.

Other tools and systems. Knowing additional systems is always helpful! Familiarity with Anaplan, Adaptive, and/or Tableau will help you get up to speed quicker.
