Who We’re Looking For:
We are looking for a part-time Finance Assistant who will be responsible for managing HR finance topics, accounts receivables, controlling tasks, and supporting various finance projects across multiple departments. As part of a small but growing team, this role is ideal for a finance driven professional with a keen eye for detail and a background or interest in audit. Fluency in German and English is essential for this position.
What You’ll Do:
Handle payroll processing, benefits administration, and employee expense reimbursements.
Ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies.
Assist with HR budgeting and financial forecasting.
Manage and monitor accounts receivable, ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices
Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
Communicate with clients to resolve payment issues and discrepancies.
Assist in the preparation of financial reports and budgets.
Perform variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance.
Support internal audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Collaborate with different departments to support various finance-related projects.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance financial operations.
Assist in the implementation of new financial systems and tools.
The Right Person Would Have:
Bachelor´s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
Proven experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably within the SaaS or technology sector.
Strong knowledge of HR finance, accounts receivables and controlling.
Fluency in German and English is required.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with accounting software is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
