We’re at the forefront of this movement and are building an innovative technology-first platform to scale the entirety of the cannabis industry. Through dedication to enhancing efficiency, transparency, and customer satisfaction, Nabis is paving the way for sweeping legalization.

Our team, backed by Y Combinator and from a celebrity roster of tech luminaries and celebrities, including Doordash co-founder Stanley Tang, NFL Hall of Famer Joe Montana, Gmail creator Paul Buchheit, and Twitch cofounder Justin Kan, is scaling the cannabis supply chain with technology and our ultimate goal is to become the largest distributor of cannabis products in the world.

The Role

Nabis is seeking a Finance Operations Data Analyst to drive automation, streamline processes, and improve metric tracking across Finance, Accounting Operations, Product & Engineering, and Sales & Marketing. This role will work at the intersection of data analytics, process automation, and cross-functional project execution and partner closely with stakeholders to build tools, dashboards, and workflows that enhance efficiency and decision-making.

You will scope and deliver technical solutions and process improvements that increase efficiency, enhance data accuracy, and enable better decision-making across the organization. These solutions may include automating financial and operational processes, integrating and optimizing workflows across systems, developing new KPIs and dashboards, and connecting data infrastructure to planning and analytics tools.

The ideal candidate has strong technical and analytical skills, thrives in cross-functional environments, and enjoys translating complex business needs into scalable, data-driven solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Data Infrastructure & Automation – Design, implement, and maintain automated data pipelines and workflows to improve operational efficiency, particularly for Finance and Accounting Operations

  • Process Improvement – Identify inefficiencies, propose automation opportunities, and implement scalable systems that drive measurable cost savings and productivity gains via direct integrations with internal and external tools and platforms

  • Metrics Development & Visualization – Partner with Finance to connect Redshift to our planning tools, define incremental KPIs, and develop visualizations for Finance, Product & Engineering, and Sales & Marketing teams

  • Reporting & Insights – Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations that translate raw data into actionable insights for leadership and operational teams

  • Cross-Functional Analytics – Collaborate with internal stakeholders to scope analytical projects, translate requirements into technical solutions, and ensure accuracy and usability of outputs

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or financial systems analysis, ideally within Finance, Accounting, or related operational domains

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or other quantitative field

  • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with data warehouses (e.g., Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery)

  • Experience with ETL tools, workflow automation, and OCR integrations preferred

  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Retool, Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar)

  • Demonstrated experience designing dashboards and metrics for both financial and non-financial stakeholders

  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver solutions end-to-end

  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven mentality, attention to detail, and the ability to synthesize complex datasets into clear insights

  • Effective communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence decision-making

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with multiple, concurrent projects
