Overview:

We're seeking a results-driven Finance Manager to be a critical partner to the finance team and wider organization, providing data-driven insights to guide strategic decision-making. You'll leverage your SQL expertise to analyze and interpret financial and operational data, helping us identify growth opportunities, improve customer retention, and optimize pricing. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong analytical mindset and a passion for leveraging data to drive business impact in the SaaS space. You must have at least 2+ years working for a SaaS startup (Seed to Series C) in order to qualify.

What you’ll do:

  • Financial Modeling & Forecasting: Help to maintain financial models to forecast key metrics and to support planning and investment decisions.

  • Reporting & Visualization: Develop clear and insightful reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate complex financial data to stakeholders across the organization.

  • SaaS Metrics Analysis: Deep-dive into key SaaS metrics (MRR, ARR, churn, LTV, CAC) to uncover trends, understand drivers, and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • SQL Expertise: Leverage your SQL skills to extract, transform, and analyze data from our various systems.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Product and Growth teams to define and track key metrics, share insights, and drive data-driven decision-making across the company.

  • Customer Acquisition & Retention Analysis: Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, identify high-value customer segments, and develop strategies to reduce churn.

  • Pricing & Revenue Optimization: Analyze pricing models, customer segments, and usage patterns to optimize pricing strategies and maximize revenue generation.

The ideal candidate:

  • Experience: 6+ years of experience in financial analysis, ideally in the SaaS industry. Must have at least 2+ years working for a Seed to C stage company

  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in SQL (required), strong Excel/Google Sheets financial modeling skills, and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Omni, Looker, etc).

  • SaaS Knowledge: Understanding of key SaaS metrics and business models.

  • Soft Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication and presentation abilities, ability to work independently and take initiative, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven.

  • Self Starter: Comfortable working independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
