As a profitable and growing company, this role is necessitated by our continued growth. Hostaway is looking for an experienced Finance Analyst to look after our O2C payments. This position will report to the Finance Director.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with customer-facing teams to resolve billing-related customer inquiries in a timely manner

  • Ensure accurate payment application, including credit card and chargeback processing

  • Review sales orders and order confirmations and ensure accuracy of billing and reporting

  • Initiate and implement improvements in the O2C process and ensure minimal revenue leakage throughout the process

  • Perform recurring collection efforts including dynamic collection and implementing communication strategies to optimize collection channels

  • Generate AR aging reports, collect data and provide metrics on efficiency of collections on regular basis

  • Support in revenue related accounting processes such as revenue recognition and AR postings

  • Ensure tax compliance in billing

Main tasks & responsibilities

  • Collaborate with customer-facing teams to resolve billing-related customer inquiries in a timely manner

  • Review sales orders and order confirmations and ensure accuracy of billing and reporting

  • Initiate and implement improvements in the O2C process and ensure minimal revenue leakage throughout the process

  • Supporting in processes around US Sales Tax (Avalara) and other tax reporting

  • Stripe Administration on a daily basis

    • Problem management

    • Chasing Failed Payments

    • Filling Dispute cases and managing chargebacks

    • Working on various reports

    • Keep track of refunds and controls on refunds

    • Making sure that clients with listings are being charged on time

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant experience from accounts receivable, billing and collections

  • Experience with online payment solutions (Braintree, Stripe etc.)

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

  • Experience of working with a high volume, multicurrency, multi-country environment

  • Experience with Stripe, Stripe Billing, NetSuite and Hubspot considered as advantage

  • Capacity to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
