Job Overview:
Coursera is looking for an experienced and results-oriented Executive Assistant to support the office of the CEO. Reporting to the Manager, Executive Assistant, Office of the CEO and coordinating with the wider Executive Assistant team, the Executive Assistant will be part of an impactful group that keeps our executives well supported. This is a role that requires a strong attention to detail, flexibility, keen insight and resourcefulness, and the ability to multi-task and juggle projects with aggressive deadlines. You will interact with all individuals across Coursera -- if you’re looking for a truly cross-functional and impactful role, this would be it!
Responsibilities:
Support the office of the CEO by managing calendars, booking travel, and coordinating logistics for meetings and events
Plan and organize logistics for executive team off-site meetings and team-building events
Book travel, accommodations, and ground transportation for the CEO
Maintain accurate scheduling in calendars through coordination with the Manager of the Office of the CEO
Reconcile financial statements and expense reports; submit reports to the finance team
Work collaboratively as part of an administrative support team; communicate promptly and effectively
Basic Qualifications:
3+ years in an administrative support role for a public company with 1000+ employees with experience scheduling meetings, managing projects and event planning.
Experience prioritizing conflicting needs
Highly adaptable in a fast-paced, high-tech environment, with a strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize and complete assignments quickly
Experience handling highly confidential information
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience managing and understanding executive goals and strategic plans
Proactive, with attention to detail, organizational skills, dependability, and follow-through
Clear written and verbal communicator with internal employees and external vendors and contacts
Approachable, resourceful, a creative problem-solver, quick on your feet, out-of-the-box thinker
Proficient using Google Suite in an office environment. Experience with Expensify, Slack, Zoom, Egencia, a plus.
