The Opportunity

The role answers to a shared global marketing pipeline goal. It requires a strong grasp of online and offline events, brand awareness, top-of-funnel lead generation, and customer engagement. Our campaign management team is tightly aligned with our sales goals and leads with best practices and experiments with content formats to continually measure, learn, and finesse programs to drive engagement across events. The Events Manager will drive the event campaign quality and usher the team to success.

What You Will Do

  • Strategy: 

  • Events leadership: Create and drive events calendar and campaigns from end-to-end (plan, execute, report, optimize) to meet key performance metrics

  • Experiment with new concepts, platforms, strategies, and vendors

  • Assist in creating strategy and KPI dashboards for results of all event promotion channels (paid media, inbound, SEO, PPC, social media, blog)

  • Develop and iterate on our events processes to continuously improve the way things are doneProvide recommendations on how to achieve optimal results 

Execute: 

  • Performing day-to-day email writing, editing, or crafting for event programs

  • Launch and maintain event lead acquisition and nurture campaigns, both internally and externally

  • Develop and execute event-based campaigns in Marketo, including the construction of workflows to support re-engagement, nurturing, and follow-up

  • Manage relationships with outside agencies

  • Drive tactics to optimize each stage of the marketing funnel across all event touchpoints and vendors

  • Deep understanding and working knowledge of the mechanics of how leads move through the funnel from a marketing automation perspective

  • Possess familiarity with lead scoring and attribution functionality within Marketo and how it interfaces with Salesforce

  • Work with the internal and external teams to promote events and strategy

  • Continually optimize & rebalance the events calendar to drive the highest overall ROI possible

Metrics:

  • Build reports and dashboards in Marketo and Salesforce to provide visibility in marketing campaign results and measure campaign effectiveness, including outbound marketing metrics, lead distribution, opportunity stages, pipeline contribution, and ROI.

  • Forecasting, measuring, analyzing, and reporting on the impact of event activities

  • Leverage data analytics to report on the effectiveness of events

Collaborate: 

  • Partner with product marketing and other marketing team members to support and deliver on TrustArc’s event strategy

  • Work with cross-functional team members to collaborate on how events fit into overall programs, content strategy, product launches, and other initiativesInterface with Sales  and other internal teams on upcoming events, as well as seek qualitative feedback from them post-event

Technical Skill 

  • Skillfully utilize Marketo and Salesforce to refine event lead nurturing and qualification through the pipeline and lifecycle

  • Engineer an efficient and scalable customer acquisition machine leveraging a combination of online and offline programs

What You Will Bring

  • BA/BS with at least 5 years of B2B Marketing experience

  • Extensive experience with Marketo, Salesforce, Google Analytics, and Zoom. (Domo a plus)

  • Great writing skills and a talent for making complex things sound simple via user stories, product requirement documents, sales tools/training, etc.

  • Proven experience working in digital marketing organization

  • Strong marketing automation or operations background 

  • Enjoy working across functions and at all levels of the company

  • Ability to travel to events as needed

Nice to have: 

  • Versatility: As a small team, we all stretch at times, so this role will occasionally involve elements of growth marketing, marketing strategist, field marketing, etc.

  • It is a great opportunity for someone with a range/breadth of skills.

  • Support the growth and development of TrustArc’s website to ensure a seamless experience for prospects and existing customers on both web and mobile.

  • Collaborate with the web team to develop and execute our conversion rate optimization strategy across our landing pages.

  • Experience creating a programmatic and scalable approach to A/B testing for email and web, to help innovate programs and content on our platforms.
