Events Data Specialist
The part-time Events Data Specialist will support our client in a data management and operational data quality position. They will provide quality control and data testing for event information using client tools and systems.
Responsibilities
Provide quality control and data testing for client apps and features
Perform manual data quality testing of re-factored code including comparing pre-post data sets
Utilize client tools to create and manage event information
Assess grouping and mapping logic within client apps and systems
Operate override tooling and triage incoming data issues from artists, labels, data providers, employees, or users
Monitor events data quality by evaluating sample data sets on a weekly basis
Review artist data, verify mappings, and conduct artist research to correct mismatches
Perform regular quality assurance checks following engineering updates
Gather and verify information for events such as festivals and multi-artist lineups
Conduct event content management to maintain event pages and provide updates as continuing lineups and details are announced
Must be available to work occasional holidays
Required Experience
1-2 years experience in data operations and quality assessment
Experience in metadata organization and cleanup, especially disambiguation work
Excellent reading and writing skills in English
Strong organizational and research skills
Excellent time management skills and ability to work under deadlines
Experience reviewing a large quantity of work while maintaining a high degree of accuracy
Experience working in an online and remote work environment
Experience using complex content management systems
Familiar working with Mac, iOS, OS, iPhone, and iPad
Preferred Qualifications
Basic proficiency and knowledge of SQL
Familiarity with events and apps related to music, sports, theater, and other cultural events
Job Type: Part-time, 15 hours/week
Starting US Pay Rate: USD 24/hour
The starting US salary range represents a national range based on available compensation data for similar positions. Final base salary will be determined upon offer based on your location and experience.
