Teleport is the market leader in Identity-Native Infrastructure Access Management. Every company must protect its critical computing infrastructure from hackers and other bad actors. The problem is that most rely on outdated access solutions that use passwords and other shared secrets which are #1 source of data breach. Teleport replaces these outdated access solutions with more secure identity, making the happy path for engineers the secure path. We Are Looking For Someone Who Is:

  • Experienced: Brings over 5 years of successful sales experience in enterprise software solution selling, with a proven track record of quota achievement.

  • Strategic: Demonstrated ability to navigate complex sales cycles and engage with senior-level decision-makers.

  • Organized: Exceptional at creating scalable sales processes and strategies to penetrate large organizations.

  • Skilled Communicator: Mastery in articulating value propositions to C-level executives, balancing technical insights with business benefits.

  • Driven: A self-starter who is not just a participant but a leader and innovator in the sales process.

  • Aligned with Our Values: Exemplifies our core behaviors with a focus on building long-term customer relationships and driving value.

What We Ask Of You:

  • Sales Execution: Drive the entire sales process from prospecting to close, utilizing deep industry knowledge to demonstrate the unique value of Teleport’s solutions to enterprise customers.

  • Customer Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, understanding their business challenges and aligning our solutions to their needs.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with product, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure a cohesive customer experience and to develop case studies and strategies for engaging new prospects.

  • Forecasting and Reporting: Accurately forecast sales performance and maintain up-to-date records in CRM systems.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of enterprise sales experience in Enterprise Software Sales.

  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas.

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and closing skills.

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.

$256,000 - $335,000 a year

The typical starting Total Cash Compensation range for new hires in this role is $256,000 - $335,000 for a level 5, which consists of a Base Salary plus a Target Commission. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
