Job Description

As a distributed and highly collaborative company, Privia’s enterprise applications are at the heart of getting things done. Google Workspace is the central collaboration suite that powers Privians’ work. The Collaboration Engineer is a technology solutions oriented professional with a passion for making applications work for the individuals utilizing them to accomplish their work. This role uses administrator level knowledge of applications, process analysis, and effective meetings and design sessions to ensure the applications work together and are configured in a way that is effective and secure for the organization.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Act as the central administrator and product owner of Privia’s Google Workspace Enterprise environment

  • Stay abreast of the rapid Google Workspace release schedule, measure the feature impact, and communicate key updates to Privians

  • Act as the change manager for Google Workspace in the central Change Advisory Board

  • Provide support to all Privia teams working to collaborate with outside partners (i.e. health systems and other organizations not on our Google Workspace platform) and provide consultation on how to best leverage the platform safely and effectively

  • Act as a change agent and assist the AVP of Enterprise Applications and Projects in evangelizing the toolset that Google Workspace provides

  • Maintain support documentation and the collection of Google support articles that are relevant to Privia specifically

  • Work with the documentation committee, technology support teams, and the Incident Response Center to provide troubleshooting workflows as needed for end user support

  • Identify gaps in collaboration tools and work to close those gaps with integrations or new tools as necessary

  • Train teams and new employees on Google Workspace best practices in order to fully utilize the platforms inherent benefits

  • Grow the IT departments knowledge of Google Workspace and effective management of the platform as Privia grows

Qualifications

  • Demonstrates strategic thinking by evaluating how technology can address and solve complex problems.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field or equivalent experience

  • 4+ years of experience in information technology

  • 2+ years of administrator level experience with Google Workspace in an environment with more than 200 users

  • Experience utilizing a full suite of Google Workspace tools (including Classroom) is preferred

  • Google Workspace administrator certifications are a plus

The salary range for this role is $96,000.00-$120,000.00 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. This role is also eligible for an annual bonus targeted at 15%. The base pay offered will be determined based on relevant factors such as experience, education, and geographic location.

Technical Requirements (for remote workers only, not applicable for onsite/in office work):

In order to successfully work remotely, supporting our patients and providers, we require a minimum of 5 MBPS for Download Speed and 3 MBPS for the Upload Speed. This should be acquired prior to the start of your employment. The best measure of your internet speed is to use online speed tests like https://www.speedtest.net/. This gives you an update as to how fast data transfer is with your internet connection and if it meets the minimum speed requirements. Work with your internet provider if you have questions about your connection. Employees who regularly work from home offices are eligible for expense reimbursement to offset this cost.
