As an Engineering Manager, you’ll thrive in leading our Analytic Platform team if you love chasing impact, working through ambiguity, and developing a culture of innovation. In this role, you’ll lead a team of 5-10 engineers, leveraging your robust managerial toolbox to drive direct business and customer impact independently. You’ll work closely with your direct reports, cross-functional partners, and other teams to build the future of Dropbox. Responsibilities
Help define the future direction for data orchestration at Dropbox and lead a team toward that vision
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate feedback and feature requests into technical requirements
Drive results by identifying impactful opportunities and ensuring long-term growth and customer impact.
Inspire your team with a clear direction, fostering an environment where innovation flourishes and bold ideas are encouraged.
Foster talent development by supporting personal growth, career advancement, and diverse hiring practices.
Cultivate a collaborative and inclusive culture, championing team members and upholding our company values.
Ensure software and architecture excellence through quality feedback, risk mitigation, and alignment with technical strategy and business goals.
Requirements
Working knowledge of industry standard big data tools and platforms (e.g. Databricks, Snowflake, Airflow, etc.)
BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field involving coding (e.g., physics or mathematics) or equivalent technical experience
Minimum of 3 years of people management experience with an engineering team
Minimum of 5 year as a software engineer or equivalent technical experience
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working on and/or managing a data platform

Salary/OTE is just one component of Dropbox’s total rewards package. All regular employees are also eligible for the corporate bonus program or a sales incentive (target included in OTE) as well as stock in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
Current Salary/OTE Ranges (Subject to change): C$178,500 - C$210,000 - C$241,500
