Argyle is a fast-growing, remote-first Series C startup solving a systemic data problem.

Underneath the consumer finance industry’s decisions and processes is static, analog documentation—things like credit reports and paystubs—designed decades ago for a world that no longer exists. Meanwhile, credit bureaus buy, move, store, and sell consumers’ data without their knowledge or consent.

The result? A labyrinth of manual workflows and shortsighted underwriting models that obstruct financial access, compound operational costs, and impede innovation.

The solution is Argyle. We’re a real-time income data platform that lets our end-users instantly connect their employment records to apps and websites, so they can access and qualify for the financial resources they need to get ahead. Providers benefit from streamlined workflows and enhanced visibility that reduce costs and risk across the user journey.

Our mission is to give consumers the means to exercise ownership over their income, employment, and identity data in order to create a more equal, efficient, and effective financial system for everybody.

If you’re looking to join a fun and ambitious group of people working remotely across dozens of countries, apply today.

About the team

Interfaces team is probably the most versatile part of Argyle - we try to (and do!) cater to everyone:

  • from random Googlers who are trying to figure out what Argyle is on our Marketing Websites

  • to our less technical customers who, instead of coding their Link integration, choose to use our fancy Console

  • to all Argylers who use Admin to oversee what's happening under that Argyle bonnet

  • to our think tanks who throw our Team-X solutions to the wall and see what sticks

  • last but not least - there's some wizardry involved in bringing to life the beautiful creations of our Design guild

What will you do

  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership to the frontend development team, driving best practices, and ensuring adherence to coding standards and architectural principles.

  • Team Management: Manage a team of frontend developers, including performance management, mentorship, and career development.

  • Project Planning and Execution: Collaborate with Product Managers and other stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables. Lead the planning and execution of frontend development projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.

  • Collaboration and Communication: Foster a culture of collaboration and open communication within the frontend development team and across other engineering teams. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to resolve dependencies and drive project success.

Requirements:
