We value learning and growth and the ability to make a big impact at a small company. We believe that we can make big changes happen and improve the daily lives of millions of people by bringing quality software to the federal space.

We are seeking a seasoned Engineering Lead Manager to lead and manage a team of talented engineers and engineering managers. In this role, you will foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within an Agile environment. Your leadership will be instrumental in shaping the technical trajectory of our products while empowering your team to achieve their full potential.

What you’ll bring:

  • 3+ years of experience managing other engineering managers.

  • A proven track record of architecting and delivering enterprise-level, reliable, and scalable solutions while effectively managing multiple competing priorities.

  • Provides technical leadership, mentorship, guidance, and support while fostering a collaborative, innovative, and inclusive culture.

  • Capable of taking direction from senior leadership, formulating a plan with limited information, and confidently executing while navigating ambiguity.

  • Demonstrated experience designing and developing full-stack applications, including APIs, database administration, ETL pipelines, and frontend frameworks such as React or Angular.

  • Strong experience with CI/CD automation, monitoring, security, compliance, and cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS).

  • Experience engineering products for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is a plus.

  • Experience with FHIR and HL7 formats is a significant advantage.

  • Demonstrates exceptional communication skills, effectively managing information flow upward to senior leadership and downward to keep their team well-informed and aligned.

  • Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills to convey complex technical concepts effectively to non-technical government stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Must be able to attain low-level security clearance.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree

Benefits:
