We are seeking a skilled and experienced email strategist to join our team. As a strategist, you will be responsible for leading retention strategy across up to 10 six/seven figure accounts. You will manage and optimize our email marketing campaigns using the Klaviyo platform, playing a key role in developing and implementing strategies to enhance customer engagement, drive sales, and maximize the effectiveness of our email, SMS, and direct mail marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute end-to-end email marketing campaigns using Klaviyo, including pop-up, flow, campaign planning, and segmentation. You will also own results that include (but are not limited to) subscriptions, memberships, and mobile app performance.
- Implement best practices for email marketing to improve open rates, click-through rates, and overall email performance.
- Analyse campaign metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of email marketing efforts, providing insights and recommendations for improvements.
- Segment and manage customer lists based on behavior, preferences, and demographics to deliver targeted and personalized content.
- Collaborate with design and content teams to create compelling and engaging email content, ensuring brand consistency and messaging alignment.
- Stay updated with industry trends, new features, and best practices in retention marketing and Klaviyo to continuously optimize campaigns.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in leading a holistic retention strategy (aka you have case studies and examples to prove)
- Experience managing email and SMS campaigns using Klaviyo
- Strong understanding of email marketing strategies, segmentation, A/B testing, and analytics
- Knowledge of cohort analysis, lifetime value optimization, and unit economics is a must
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Basic copywriting skills with a keen eye for detail (you will need this to write briefs for our copywriters)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
- Certification or courses related to Klaviyo and email marketing (a plus).
The Hiring Process:
Stage 1: Interview with Hiring Manager
Stage 2: Assignment
Stage 3: Meeting with the Hiring Manager. We will start working on a contract basis to evaluate if we are a good fit for each other. If both of us enjoy our working relationship, NLE would be more than happy to convert you into a full-time strategist.

• Monthly account performance reporting
