The Opportunity
'As a Director of Global Security and Safety you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the physical security, workplace safety, and protective services function for FICO and will be responsible for developing, documenting, and implementing all aspects of a comprehensive physical security program including physical security technologies, risk assessment and remediation, threat management, emergency preparedness, , life safety, and crisis management, federal, state and local law enforcement liaison, and visitor management, for FICO corporate Offices and Data Centers.' - VP - Cyber Security
WhatYou’llContribute
Drive governance of the corporate Physical Security program for FICO and create a security-awareness culture.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand the physical security risks and build effective, prioritized programs to mitigate these risks within assigned budget.
Evaluate security issues at office locations and recommend, design, and implement effective and standardized security solutions for new and existing office locations.
Proactivelyidentify, develop, and implementadditionalsecurity strategies to meet the unique needs of our business and perform various security inspections and audits asrequired.
Conduct formal Threat and Vulnerability Assessments (TVAs) on global facilities;identifyvulnerabilities and gaps in physical security posture; develop prioritized recommendations to mitigate risk; provide justification and support for recommended investment inadditionalphysical security measures.
Manage administrative tasks and drive efficiencies to create a financially sustainable security practice.
Consult and make recommendations on the physical security systems and controls, including camera systems, badge access systems, visitor control systems, etc.
Consult on best practices for administering access requests with Human Resources and site management.
Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including law enforcement and regional first responders.
Assistregional leaders in developing the emergency response plan for a range of security incidents at thesite;may serve as anadditionalpoint of contact in an emergency or critical circumstance.
Assistin the creation, standardization, and implementation of policies and procedures to support global security programs. Implement these policies and procedures at facilities inassignedregion.
Collect and analyzeappropriate metricsto measure aspects of physical security performance.
Mentor other internal security team members.
Oversee the security of company sponsored events by coordinating with internalpartnersexternal service providers.
Oversee threat intelligence gathering, monitoring, and analysis that couldimpacttravel, events, or executives.
Support FICO’s high-risk travel policy in collaboration with Global Travel.

Ambitious and highly motivated individual who can work without direct oversight to meet theobjectivesof the position.
Prior experience creating, developing, pr maturing a corporate Physical Security program.
Possess attention to detail and ability to effectively manage several concurrent issues.
Ability to create andmaintainprofessional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors).
Flexibility tooperateand self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to multi-task, be highly organized,and haveexcellent time management skills.
Knowledge of security systems, including intrusion detection (burglar alarms), access control, and videosurveillance advanced required.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications and online web-based services.
Strong verbal, written communication, and persuasion skills.
Prior experience in any combination of military service, law enforcement, and corporate security.
You must be able to respond on short notice toassistwith any domestic or international security incidents ifrequired. Security incidents can occur any time, any day, anywhere in the world.
Occasional late nights or weekends as necessary to conduct assessments of threats and security posture of our offices acrossa24-hour spectrum of potential threats.
Travel - 25% both domestically and internationally.
