The Director of UX Research at Syndigo will play a pivotal role in shaping how our thousands of clients interact with our products and services, driving greater value, growth, and efficiency. Success in this role hinges on delivering actionable insights that fuel innovation across product development teams, streamlining complexity for our users. Collaborating closely with colleagues from Design, Product Management, Technology, Sales and others, you'll craft product experiences tailored to a diverse customer base. Additionally, you'll catalyze a culture of learning within the organization, guiding others on effective research practices and maximizing the impact of our findings. As part of our mission to empower users with seamless interfaces, we are seeking a passionate and experienced leader to spearhead our UX initiatives, ensuring excellence in every interaction. HOW WE'LL BE WILLING TOGETHER DAY TO DAY:
Develop and execute a comprehensive UX research strategy aligned with business goals and user needs.
Conduct thorough user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gather insights and inform product enhancements.
Create and maintain user personas to guide design decisions and ensure a user-centered approach.
Design and iterate on prototypes and wireframes to visualize and communicate design concepts effectively.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces that prioritize usability and accessibility.
Plan and facilitate usability testing sessions to evaluate the effectiveness of designs and gather feedback for iterative improvements.
Ensure that all products meet accessibility standards and advocate for inclusive design principles throughout the organization.
Hire and mentor a team of UX researchers, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Partner with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to align UX priorities with product roadmaps and business objectives.
Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in UX design and research, and champion innovative approaches to enhance the user experience.
WE SHOULD TALK IF THIS SOUNDS LIKE YOU:
8+ years of experience in UX research, with a proven track record of success in a SaaS or technology-driven environment.
BA/BS in psychology, human-computer interaction, or related field. Advanced degree (MA/MS) in a relevant field is a plus.
Strong strategic planning and analytical skills, with the ability to translate user insights into actionable strategies that drive business results.
Passionate about understanding user needs and advocating for their interests throughout the product development lifecycle.
Excellent at leading and motivating cross-functional teams, with a collaborative and empowering leadership style that fosters innovation and excellence.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
You thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and business requirements.
Commitment to staying ahead of industry trends and continuously expanding your knowledge and skills in UX design and research.
