The Role
Bitly is looking for a seasoned Director of Revenue Operations to drive strategy and operational excellence within our sales and customer success organizations. This role will lead and build a team responsible for ensuring that GTM teams have the data, strategies, and process support to accomplish key business outcomes and maximize revenue growth. This role reports to the SVP of Sales and Customer Success, and will work closely with sales, sales development, customer success, product, marketing, finance, and HR to drive operational alignment and a positive customer experience.
What You'll Do
Strategy Development: Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and execute strategic initiatives aimed at optimizing revenue generation, improving operational efficiency, and enhancing customer satisfaction
Sales and Marketing Alignment: Foster alignment between the sales and marketing teams to ensure seamless coordination throughout the customer journey, from lead generation to conversion and retention
Process Optimization: Evaluate existing processes across sales, marketing, and customer success functions to identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency gains. Implement best practices and automation tools to streamline workflows and enhance productivity
Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize data-driven insights to inform decision-making, identify trends, and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to revenue generation and customer engagement. Develop comprehensive reports and dashboards to provide visibility into performance metrics
Revenue Forecasting: Lead the development of accurate revenue forecasts based on historical performance, market trends, and sales pipeline analysis. Work closely with finance and executive teams to align revenue projections with overall business objectives
Technology Integration: Evaluate, implement, and integrate technology solutions to support sales, marketing, and customer success initiatives. Ensure seamless integration between systems and platforms to facilitate data flow and process automation
Team Leadership and Development: Build and lead a high-performing revenue operations team, providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, product management, and customer success, to drive alignment and achieve shared goals
Who You Are
Proven experience (8+ years) in revenue operations, sales operations, or a related field within a SaaS or technology company
Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic initiatives to drive revenue growth and operational efficiency
Expertise in data analysis, reporting, and forecasting, with proficiency in CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Gainsight)
Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Detail-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement and process optimization
Strong business acumen and a deep understanding of SaaS business models and revenue drivers
