We’re on the lookout for an inspiring Product Director to lead and mentor a dynamic group of talented Product Managers dedicated to our innovative Operations Products. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in product planning, fostering organizational excellence, and developing your team while actively driving a key area of our product. Your ability to communicate effectively and collaborate closely with your Engineering partners, as well as the broader Product and Engineering teams, will be essential for success. This is the fantastic opportunity for someone with proven experience in SaaS product management and a solid understanding of the restaurant industry, ready to take an active role in shaping an innovative restaurant management product group.
How you'll add value:
Manage and nurture a team of Product Managers focused on the operations area of Restaurant365. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning that empowers your team to excel.
Own the strategic direction of a complex Operations Product group within Restaurant365, encompassing multiple products and ensuring they align with both customer needs and company objectives.
Develop and maintain a forward-thinking, holistic roadmap for your team’s products that balances short-term goals with long-term vision.
Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Product Managers, promoting industry best practices and a culture of excellence.
Define and leverage key performance metrics to assess product success and inform strategic decisions, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
Spearhead the ideation, design, technical development, and launch of innovative product features that enhance user experience and drive customer satisfaction.
Skillfully evaluate, design and prioritize features, enhancements, and technical debt, ensuring that the team remains focused on high-impact initiatives.
Drive product decisions using insights gathered from user research, usability studies, and data-driven experiments to create solutions that resonate with our customers.
Establish and monitor success metrics post-launch to evaluate product performance, ensuring continuous improvement and responsiveness to market feedback.
Build strong partnerships with Engineering and other teams, promoting a unified approach to product development that drives shared goals and objectives.
Take on other duties as assigned, actively contributing to the success of the product team and the organization as a whole.
Occasional travel may be required.
What you'll need to be successful in this role:
Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or equally relevant degree or an equivalent combination of education and applicable work experience.
10+ years in Product Management, including several years of experience leading and mentoring teams in a dynamic and highly matrixed environment.
Ability to communicate at the Executive level.
User empathy and experience with running in-person user tests.
Passion for building digital experiences people love.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to meet tight deadlines.
Agile Methodology experience.
Aha! and JIRA experience.
High professional standards and expectations for self and others.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience at a high-growth B2B SaaS technology company.
Experience working in the restaurant industry.
Payroll/HR product experience.
General knowledge of labor management technologies.
R365 Team Member Benefits & Compensation
This position has a salary range of $167,200 - $209,000. The above range represents the expected salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic location. Restaurant365 focuses on equitable pay for our team and aims for transparency with our pay practices.
