FICO (NYSE: FICO)is a leading global analytics software company, helping businesses in 100+ countries make better decisions. Join our world-class team today and fulfill your career potential!

The Opportunity

The Director, Program Management (Product & Engineering Transformation) is FICO’s single accountable Project Management leader, driving one of the highest-priority initiatives in FICO’s Product and Engineering organization: a fundamental rearchitecting of how FICO builds software in an AI-native world. Sitting within FICO’s Global PMO and reporting to the Sr. Director of Technology Programs, this role connects executive sponsors, transformation stream leads, and the broader engineering organization. Rather than simply tracking work, you will remove blockers, shape governance, drive adoption, and ensure the transformation lands with measurable outcomes. FICO is a global analytics software company with more than 70 years of history in credit scoring, fraud detection, and decisioning technology, and this transformation is central to how we compete in the next decade.

What You’ll Contribute

  • Own the end-to-end program plan and delivery roadmap across all transformation workstreams, including organizational structure redesign, AI-native engineering platform adoption, shift-left governance and compliance, developer enablement, operating model change, and security and legal process modernization.
  • Drive the weekly program management cadence, surfacing and resolving roadblocks, managing cross-stream dependencies, and maintaining momentum across a multi-quarter delivery roadmap.
  • Coordinate across workstream leads to ensure timely decisions, manage interdependencies, and unify the program into one coherent effort rather than a collection of parallel initiatives.
  • Prepare and facilitate bi-weekly executive Steering Group updates, translating program complexity into clear status, risks, and decisions needed.
  • Partner with workstream leads to build and operationalize a governance framework, including charters, decision rights, escalation paths, and accountability structures, that empowers teams to execute autonomously.
  • Drive adoption of a new integrated product and engineering delivery lifecycle, replacing legacy sprint-based conventions with a modern, AI-native operating model.
  • Own business readiness and success measurement, defining what good looks like, building dashboards to track it, and reporting outcomes to leadership.
  • Lead stakeholder engagement, communications, and change management across Product, Engineering, HR, Legal, and Security, building trust and alignment across a matrixed organization.
  • Champion AI-native ways of working, including agentic tooling, reduced ceremony, and outcome-focused delivery, within the program, while coordinating the sequencing of pilot programs across engineering teams in partnership with platform engineering and pilot leads.

What We’re Seeking

  • Extensive experience in program or portfolio management, including leading large-scale technology transformation or organizational change programs.
  • Demonstrated success managing multi-workstream, cross-functional programs with significant organizational change components.
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills, with the ability to run executive steering cadences and influence senior leadership stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of software development organizations and modern engineering practices such as CI/CD, agile delivery, and DevOps.
  • Hands-on expertise in change management, stakeholder engagement, and driving adoption of new operating models across large engineering organizations.
  • Track record of operating effectively in matrixed environments where authority is distributed and influence is earned.
  • Preferred experience leading or supporting an AI, machine learning, or agentic tooling transformation program.
  • Familiarity with SDLC process design, such as shift-left security, governance automation, or developer enablement, along with prior exposure to enterprise-scale platform or developer infrastructure programs is nice to have.
  • Product and Engineering background with experience in program governance, OKRs, and business readiness measures with PMP, PgMP, SAFe, or equivalent certification is a plus.

Our Offer to You

  • An inclusive culture strongly reflecting our core values: Act Like an Owner, Delight Our Customers and Earn the Respect of Others.
  • The opportunity to make an impact and develop professionally by leveraging your unique strengths and participating in valuable learning experiences.
  • Highly competitive compensation, benefits and rewards programs that encourage you to bring your best every day and be recognized for doing so.
  • An engaging, people-first work environment offering work/life balance, employee resource groups, and social events to promote interaction and camaraderie.
  • The targeted base pay range for this role is: $150,500 to $236,500 with this range reflecting differences in candidate knowledge, skills and experience.
