The Role We are seeking a highly skilled, customer-focused, and innovative Director of Product to manage our core product offering and play a pivotal role in driving Ottimate’s growth and expansion into new verticals. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of verticalized SaaS within the fintech industry, coupled with strong business acumen, leadership abilities, and a track record of successful product management in global contexts. In the day-to-day, this person will be responsible for developing and executing the product roadmap in alignment with Ottimate's strategic objectives, focusing on verticalized SaaS solutions for the fintech industry. Additionally, they will lead a cross-functional product team based in North America and India, fostering collaboration and innovation to deliver high-quality products on schedule. What You'll Do

• Develop and execute a product strategy aligned with Ottimate's business objectives and growth plans, leveraging insights gathered from market analysis and customer feedback.

• Provide strategic leadership to direct reports in North America and India, promoting effective collaboration and fostering innovation and excellence in product delivery.

• Own and oversee the development of Ottimate's core product suite, guiding the product roadmap and ensuring timely delivery of customer-centric solutions.

• Collaborate closely with sales, operations, marketing, customer success, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment, optimize the product roadmap, and maximize product adoption and revenue growth.

• Conduct market research and engage with industry stakeholders to understand market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes.

• Gather and analyze customer insights to drive product improvements and innovations and champion a customer-first approach, collaborating closely with customers to understand their specific requirements and ensuring that product development is driven by customer feedback, needs, and market trends.

• Lead product development and expansion into new markets/verticals; evaluating and adjusting product offerings to meet the evolving needs of customers in each vertical we enter.

• Collaborate with senior leaders to align product initiatives with broader business objectives and market demands, fostering strong cross-functional teamwork.

• Provide thought leadership and contribute to Ottimate's overall business strategy, leveraging expertise in growth-stage SaaS companies and industry best practices.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Product Management, or related field (MBA preferred).

• 8+ years of experience in product management with a deep understanding of, and exposure to, verticalized SaaS solutions within the fintech space.

• Proven track record of successfully leading/mentoring product resources and driving product strategy in growth-stage SaaS companies.

• Strong understanding of business fundamentals and ability to translate market insights into actionable product strategies.

• Demonstrated expertise in building and maintaining strategic alliances with industry partners and stakeholders.

• Exceptional problem-solving and strategic thinking skills with the ability to adapt to change and move quickly in a fast-paced startup environment.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with customers, executives, and cross-functional teams.

• Willingness to travel to industry and customer sites as needed to gather insights and build relationships.

• Passion for innovation and a commitment to delivering exceptional products that exceed customer expectations.

• Preference will be given to candidates based on the West Coast of the United States.
