This role will focus on optimizing customer acquisition, activation, and retention, ensuring our products deliver exceptional value to a growing user base.

As the leader of the growth product team, you'll help turn Dash into a PLG powerhouse by building and optimizing best-in-class user acquisition and activation experiences and flows, introduce innovative systems to ignite viral expansion, and increase activation and engagement,  while expanding the market opportunity via self-service capabilities and international expansion. You'll also partner closely with Engineering, Design, Product Marketing, and Go-to-Market teams to craft compelling solutions that resonate across diverse audiences.

RESPONSIBILITES

  • Lead high-impact projects such as new user acquisition via viral product-led sharing and driving successful trials of new users (e.g., onboarding and activation) to paid subscribers

  • Develop strategies to turn licenses into active, engaged users through thoughtful activation solutions including new user experience design and re-engagement strategy

  • You’ll also lead the design and strategy for our notificatoin and self-service systems to support our goals

  • You will lead and build a team of best-in-class PM leaders who obsess over customers and move fast in a highly ambiguous environment

  • You will lead the team in balancing urgency vs. the incredibly high quality bar expected by both our customers and the broader Dropbox organization, through clear and repeatable processes

  • You will partner closely with leadership across all functions - Engineering, Design, Data, Research, GTM, Customer success and Sales

  • You'll foster a healthy and collaborative culture that embodies Dropbox's values and continue to develop Dropbox as one of the best places to work

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 7+ years of product experience in a medium/larger software company and/or early stage startup experience leading a high growth area

  • Deep experience with growth frameworks and methodologies, such as PLG, user-get-user virality, funnel optimization, and have demonstrated a metrics-driven approach to problem-solving.

  • You love building products that make our customers feel joy, delight and trust - you care deeply about the product craft and practice

  • You have demonstrated technical proficiency and effectiveness working closely with engineers at scale in a growth-oriented capacity, including expertise in experimentation, hypothesis testing and customer-led product iteration and improvement

  • Deep organization capabilities, especially in regards to influence, collaboration and communication

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Exceptional problem solving and execution capacity. Demonstrated success in solving difficult challenges to unlock growth.

  • Ownership and hustle: Demonstrates hustle by successfully scaling on high growth product or starting a product from scratch.
