  • Partner closely with leaders across Engineering, Product, Design, HR and Talent Acquisition to set organizational and technical strategy, as well as support engineering managers in Europe and North America

  • Foster a healthy and collaborative culture in Poland that embodies Dropbox's values and continue to develop Dropbox as one of the best places to work

  • Drive results by identifying impactful opportunities and ensuring long-term growth and customer impact

  • Inspire team with a clear direction, fostering an environment where innovation flourishes and bold ideas are encouraged

  • Foster talent development by supporting personal growth, career advancement, and diverse hiring practices

  • Cultivate a collaborative and inclusive culture, championing team members and upholding our company values

  • Ensure excellence through quality feedback, risk mitigation, and alignment with technical strategy and business goals

Requirements

  • BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field (e.g. physics or mathematics)

  • 10+ years of experience in an engineering leadership role (4+ years as a Senior Manager or Director) with a track record of successfully managing and growing engineering teams

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

  • Experience in defining and implementing engineering processes and best practices

  • Proven ability to drive innovation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in managing and collaborating with teams across diverse geographic locations and multiple time zones

Total Rewards

Dropbox applies increased tax deductible costs (50%) to remuneration earned by certain qualifying employees (to the extent an employee will be involved in the creation of the software as an “author”) for the transfer of copyrights, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Personal Income Tax Act.
