The Director of Channel sales is responsible for the coordination of day-to-day management of named Lumivero channel partners to achieve/exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets, with a focus on expansion sales. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic alignment : Drive the development and implementation of joint business plans with senior partner and Lumivero executives. Prepare detailed partner business plans to support the growth in revenues and/or investment to achieve necessary results for both 

  • Sales enablement : Provide sales training to key partner sales teams on a quarterly basis to help drive pipeline growth in both the Academic and Government sectors in each partner territory. Program development : Prospect and profile new partners to identify potential new relationships in emerging markets and drive additional revenue streams as required. 

  • Sales management : Gain a thorough understanding of each partner pipeline and prepare accurate weekly forecasts and reports on a timely basis. 

Required Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in managing both Distributor and Reseller relationships

  • Experience in developing and motivating partner sales teams to achieve revenue results 

  • Proven track record in achievement/overachievement of annual revenues targets 

  • Experience in identifying, developing and implementing strategies to drive new business revenues 

  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with software-as-a-service (SaaS) business models, subscription renewals, and the indirect sales ecosystem. 

  • Salesforce Proficiency: Strong proficiency in CRM tools, particularly Salesforce, to manage the renewals pipeline, generate reports, and track partner activities. 

  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and trends to make informed decisions, forecast renewal outcomes, and drive strategic initiatives. 

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence partners at various levels. 

  • Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to address complex challenges, handle escalations, and propose innovative solutions to maximize renewal success. 

  • Team Collaboration: Proven track record of working cross-functionally with Finance, Sales, and Operations teams to achieve shared goals.
