We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Account Management Team Lead to oversee our Personal Loans department's partner relationships. In this role, you will lead a team of account managers, driving strategies with strategic partners to maximize revenue and profitability, optimize customer experience, and strengthen partner relationships. You will serve as the internal and external advocate for our key partner accounts, ensuring their needs are met while aligning with organizational objectives. This position requires a proactive approach, strong leadership skills, and a focus on driving bottom-line results.
Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of account managers, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities
Assume overall responsibility for the revenue and margin of a portfolio of strategic partnerships
Build and maintain strong, consultative relationships with partner accounts, from working teams through executives
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement custom integrations on partner sites
Develop and execute an annual marketing plan to achieve organizational objectives, including borrower acquisition within partner verticals
Provide leadership in the design, development, and implementation of products and initiatives to drive borrower acquisition through partner channels
Utilize key metrics to optimize and scale partner performance in a cost-efficient manner
Oversee contract negotiations and execution for large value contracts
Design intuitive reports and tracking mechanisms to maintain visibility into partner performance
Ensure accurate reporting, invoicing, and reconciliation processes are in place
Collaborate with IT, media, and creative resources to optimize partnership opportunities effectively
Requirements
5+ years of experience in Business Development or Account Management, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role
Demonstrated success in managing key account relationships and driving revenue growth
Strong negotiation skills and ability to build trust and rapport with partners
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Proven track record of driving results in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Communications, or related field
Experience in the financial services industry is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and strong overall computer skills
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to develop relationships internally and externally
Team player with a congenial attitude and ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional environment
The expected salary range for this position is $105,000 USD to $160,000 USD annually. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the Company’s compensation practices. The salary may be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location. The position is also eligible to receive performance bonus or commission and equity in the form of restricted stock units. This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s standard employee benefits programs, which currently include health care benefits; (2) retirement benefits; (3) the amount of paid days off (paid sick leave, parental leave, paid time off, or vacation benefits); (4) any other tax-reportable benefits.
