We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Account Management to lead our QRP account management team. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, strategic, and possess a sales-oriented personality, with a proven track record of success in managing client relationships and driving revenue growth. In this role, you will oversee a team, develop and execute strategic account plans, and drive business development initiatives to expand our client base.
Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of account managers, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
Develop and implement strategic account plans to drive revenue growth and maximize client satisfaction.
Cultivate strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored insurance solutions.
Drive business development efforts to identify and pursue new opportunities for growth within the insurance industry.
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, including sales, underwriting, and marketing, to ensure alignment and execution of business objectives.
Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
Analyze performance metrics and KPIs to track progress against goals and drive continuous improvement.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to promote our brand and offerings.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing or related field; MBA preferred.
7+ years of experience in account management or sales within the insurance industry, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Must have Insurance experience, working with carriers and/or agencies
Proven track record of driving revenue growth and exceeding sales targets in a competitive market.
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and internal stakeholders.
Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a knack for problem-solving.
Deep understanding of insurance products, underwriting processes, and regulatory requirements.
Proficiency in CRM systems, sales automation tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
The expected salary range for this position is $105,000 USD to $160,000 USD annually. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the Company’s compensation practices. The salary may be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location. The position is also eligible to receive performance bonus or commission and equity in the form of restricted stock units. This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s standard employee benefits programs, which currently include health care benefits; (2) retirement benefits; (3) the amount of paid days off (paid sick leave, parental leave, paid time off, or vacation benefits); (4) any other tax-reportable benefits.
