  • Data Storytelling: Transform complex data sets into compelling narratives that guide strategic decision-making across departments.

  • Strategic Insight Generation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate insights into actionable strategies that enhance consumer engagement and drive growth.

  • Research Design and Execution: Lead end-to-end research projects, from designing methodologies to overseeing data collection and analysis.

  • Cross-functional Partnership: Build strong relationships across the organization by presenting findings, offering strategic recommendations, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.

  • Innovation Advocacy: Stay ahead of industry trends and technological advancements, advocating for innovative approaches that better answer audience needs.

The details: This position requires the following:

  • 10+ years in consumer insights, UX research, or related fields (with demonstrated success delivering actionable insights).

  • Proficient in analyzing complex data sets using statistical methods and data visualization tools. 

  • Ability to connect data insights with business strategy and drive impactful outcomes.

  • Exceptional storytelling skills with a proven ability to communicate insights effectively to diverse audiences.

  • Strong team player who thrives in an agile environment and can work effectively across teams and levels of an organization.

Starting salary for this role is in the range of $135,000 - $180,000 and is dependent on numerous factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, and skills. This range does not include other compensation and benefits. Axios' compensation philosophy takes into account cost of labor differentials across the country. Because this is a remote-optional job posting, this salary range takes into account all possible locations within the United States, but candidates will only be eligible for the salary range for their location.
