Core Responsibilities
Delivery & Engagement Leadership
- Own the design, delivery, quality, scope, and financial performance of AI and data product engagements across a portfolio of client accounts, serving as engagement leader on key programs.
- Translate complex client requirements into scalable product strategies
- Define and enforce specification quality, backlog standards, and adoption KPIs across all team engagements to drive root-cause fixes.
- Build trusted relationships with executive client sponsors (CDO, CTO, CAO, VP of Product) and shape multi-phase roadmaps from MVC to scale.
Team Leadership & Portfolio Management
- Plan staffing and capacity across the practice; balance utilization, growth, and delivery commitments at scale.
- Own the recruiting pipeline to identify, attract, and hire high-caliber talent that meets and/or exceeds the standard for delivery excellence.
Go-to-Market & Commercial Ownership
- Own GTM strategy, pipeline targets, and revenue outcomes for product management
- Lead pre-sales engagements, including discovery sessions, executive workshops, SOW scoping, and storytelling that connects product management to measurable business outcomes.
- Accountable for the development of phData's Product Management standards, delivery frameworks, and reusable assets.
- Define AI productivity standards and evaluation models across the team; ensure AI fluency translates to measurable business value
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years in a consulting, professional services, or advisory environment.
- Proven track record leading and managing product managers with accountability for team utilization, performance, and client satisfaction.
- Experience owning a portfolio of client accounts with direct responsibility for delivery quality, scope, and financial performance.
- Demonstrated success building and scaling data or AI products from MVP to production.
- Deep understanding of the modern data and AI stack (Snowflake, cloud platforms, BI tools, agentic AI frameworks) and the ability to guide strategic product decisions at that level.
- Proficient in product operating models; backlog management, specification quality, KPI frameworks, Business Acceptance criteria, and Value Realization Plans.
- Experience designing AI-assisted product workflows and embedding AI productivity tools into team delivery; ability to evaluate and enforce AI adoption standards across a portfolio.
- Demonstrated pre-sales track record; SOW development, executive proposals, and closing consulting engagements.
- Strong executive communication and storytelling skills; able to translate product complexity into business impact for CDO, CTO, and board-level audiences.
- Experience proactively identifying delivery risks, escalating effectively, and driving root-cause accountability across multi-engagement portfolios.
- Experience at a top-tier data, AI, or management consulting firm preferred.
- Prior experience working in global or remote teams and partnering across the U.S., LATAM, and/or India.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% (10 of 20 days per month).
