Position Responsibilities:
Automates, develops, monitors, improves, and troubleshoots across software engineering development, tooling, testing, integration, deployment, configuration processes, and security controls.
Analyzes, plans, and executes mitigation strategies to prevent potential security risks, threats, and vulnerabilities.
Implements an environment that enableshigh levelsof quality, safety, compliance, and continuous improvement across the organization.
Supports collaboration with cross functional teams to build andmaintainrobust, scalable, and secure software engineering systems.
Implements current and emerging technologies, tools, frameworks, and regulations in the software engineeringDevSecOpsenvironment.

BasicQualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
3+ years of experience inmodernprogramminglanguages such as C, C++, Python or Java
3+ years of experience with Development Operations (DevOps) and/or Development Security Operations (DevSecOps)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience in Real Time Operating Systems such as VxWorks, DEOS, Integrity-178

Knowledge of containerization technologies which includes understanding how to manage containers, deploy applications in a containerized environment, and troubleshoot issues. Knowledge of understanding of networking concepts, including IP addressing, subnetting, routing, and security (focus on security best practices and technologies).
Knowledge of cultural philosophies, practices and tools required for continuous integration and continuous delivery to deliver applications and services with increased velocity and in line with security requirements.
Knowledge of responsibilities and tasks performed by various Engineering departments/disciplines (e.g., design, test, software, technology, avionics). Knowledge of the interaction between departments/disciplines and how their products/processes affect one another and impact non-engineering processes (e.g., Operations, Logistics, Business).
Knowledge of specification format requirements, guidelines, and change control processes. Understanding of relationship between specifications/standards andaircraft/product certification systems.
Knowledge of host environments, including processors, operatingsystemsand networks. Ability to build, integrate and troubleshoot software components.
