Job Summary:

The Deal Desk Specialist will support the Sales and Revenue Operations teams by ensuring the accurate management of quotes, orders, and booked sales. This role plays a critical part in maintaining compliance with pricing policies, improving sales process efficiency and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence.

 

All activities must comply with Equal Employment Opportunity laws, HIPAA, ERISA, and other applicable regulations.

Essential Functions

  • Quote and Order Management:

  • Review and approve quotes and order forms to ensure compliance with pricing and discount policies.

  • Manage daily quote and pricing approval processes while maintaining agreed-upon SLAs.

  • Assist the sales team in creating accurate and complete order forms for seamless processing.

  • Data Accuracy and CRM Management:

  • Ensure opportunities are correctly recorded and booked in the CRM system.

  • Work closely with Order Management to confirm the accuracy of booked sales opportunities.

  • Sales Support:

  • Provide proactive support and guidance to the sales team to drive new deals, upsells and renewals.

  • Support sales managers throughout the entire lifecycle: Lead-to-Quote, Contract-to-Order and Booking-to-Renewal/Up-sell/Cross-sell.

  • Collaboration and Efficiency:

  • Collaborate with finance to validate the accuracy of sales orders and maintain compliance.

  • Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving efficiency and simplifying sales and operational processes.

  • Other Responsibilities:

  • Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as required to meet business objectives.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience in deal desk, finance, contracts, sales operations or a revenue-related role.

  • Familiarity with Salesforce CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) tool.

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong business relationships.

  • Excellent listening, analytical, and organizational skills.

  • Experience in order management/administration in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong ability to prioritize tasks to meet business goals.

Preferred Requirements

  • Solid understanding of the sales process, including navigating and progressing complex sales cycles.

  • Experience in the SaaS/software industry.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

  • Experience in training and creating process documentation.
