Scopely is looking for a Data Analyst to join our LiveOps Automation team within our Midcore division in Spain on a remote basis. At Scopely, we care deeply about what we do and want to inspire play every day, whether in our work environments alongside our talented colleagues or through our deep connections with our communities of players. We are a global team of game lovers who are developing, publishing and innovating the mobile games industry, connecting millions of people around the world daily.

The LiveOps Automation team are responsible for building a sophisticated suite of LiveOps tools powered by Machine Learning (ML) and data driven decision making to enhance player experience within Midcore games. Our goal is to gain a deep understanding of player behaviours and help shape curated, dynamic in-game experiences that enhance engagement and performance across our Midcore portfolio.

What You Will Do

  • Analyze player performance across Midcore games to better understand:

    • Spending behavior

    • Game progression needs and tracking

    • Player preferences

    • Store merchandising

    • Feature impacts on KPIs

  • Partner with Machine Learning Engineers and Data Scientists to evaluate model performance and translate insights into actionable recommendations.

  • Perform exploratory analyses to identify trends, issues, and opportunities across multiple games.

  • Design and implement analytics frameworks shared across the portfolio to measure performance and impact of the ML-based tools designed by the team.

  • Design and interpret A/B tests and other statistical experiments to guide data-driven decision-making.

  • Collaborate with game teams and analysts across titles to align methodologies and share best practices.

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience as a Data Analyst applying statistical or quantitative methods to consumer or product data (gaming, mobile apps, entertainment, or similar).

  • Degree in Analytics, Business Intelligence, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or another analytical field.

  • Strong SQL skills, including complex queries across multiple data sources.

  • Experience using data visualization and BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, or Google Sheets).

  • Solid understanding of experimentation (A/B testing) and data interpretation.

  • Strong communication and storytelling skills — able to explain data findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.

  • A proactive, collaborative mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Strong English language skills, as you’ll collaborate with a highly global team.

At Scopely, we create games for everyone - and want to ensure that the people behind our games reflect that! We are committed to creating a diverse, supportive work environment where everyone is treated with respect. We are committed to providing equal employment opportunities and welcome individuals from all backgrounds to join us & embrace the adventure!
