Risk Operations looks after credit, fraud, payments. This team is critical for Aspire’s growth and sustainability.
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Credit Ops Manager to join our team. You will play a vital role in leading the credit ops team associated with Aspire advance related products. You will also contribute to the development and deployment of credit risk management measures, ensuring alignment with our team's business, policy, and operating requirements.
Monitoring the healthiness level of customers credit portfolio by setting key monitoring performance indicators
Evaluating the potential risk associated with extending credit by considering factors such as payment history, financial stability, industry trends, etc.
Developing and implementing credit scoring models to monitor ongoing credit risk and make recommendations
Monitor and improve operational process by utilizing product solutions to enhance operation effectiveness
Lead the development and implementation of relevant policies, procedures, and controls to ensure the security, integrity, and reliability of payment systems and operations.
Minimum Qualifications
At least 5 years of experience working in the payments space, and at least 3 years in a risk/credit management role
Have a strong understanding of credit risk for payment products such as Credit limit, card payment etc.
Strong experience in managing and improving operational processes
Strong motivation of making improvements and impact by identifying the issues, analyzing the root causes and follow up the action plans
Data analytical skill is a strong plus
Good communication skills, and ability to lead credit related projects and collaborate with different stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in fintech companies, showcasing knowledge of industry-specific practices and challenges.
