We have an exciting opportunity for a Credit & Collections Sr Analyst to join our LatAm Revenue Team in Mexico City, reporting to the LatAm Accounting Manager. You’ll work to support our credit & collections operations in Brazil and the broader Latin America region as well as offer insights and make recommendations to improve our operations. You'll manage the regional credit and collections portfolio, ensuring full compliance with the corporate credit policy, and strive for timely collections with achievement of collections objectives, engaging in ad-hoc projects/assignments as needed.
What you’ll do:
Support Latin American credit & collections operations
Assess Credit Lines for new & existing customers
Manage our regional collections portfolio, ensuring full compliance with the corporate credit policy, and strive for timely collections with achievement of collections objectives
Execute on assigned daily collections tasks with professionalism in executing the Pinterest collections strategy
Utilize positive approach and customer experience skills to build contacts/relationships
Achieve quarterly collections targets
Work closely with sales, legal, operations and revenue teams to ensure effective collections process and timely escalations
Look for ways to retain customers in positive fashion and manner
Utilize your experience to resolve open, delinquent items with a sense of urgency
What we’re looking for:
A candidate with an amazing attitude and proven ability to display ownership and problem solve in assignments
2+ years of previous experience in similar role
An ability to work cross functionally with teams based in LatAm and the US
Proficiency with Salesforce, Excel and Oracle Financial Systems – Advanced Collections preferred
Self-motivated and able to work both independently and collaboratively
Previous Media Agency collections experience – Internet advertising preferred
Strong proficiency in English, Portuguese and Spanish
This a 12-month fixed term contract position.
