Join the team as Twilio’s next Coordinator, Global Events.

Who we are & why we’re hiring

Twilio powers real-time business communications and data solutions that help companies and developers worldwide build better applications and customer experiences.

Although we're headquartered in San Francisco, we have presence throughout South America, Europe, Asia and Australia. We're on a journey to becoming a global company that actively opposes racism and all forms of oppression and bias. At Twilio, we support diversity, equity & inclusion wherever we do business.

About the job

As an Event Coordinator at Twilio, you will support our diverse event portfolio, including both first-party and third-party events. This entry-level position is ideal for someone early in their career, looking to gain experience in event management and marketing. You will assist with the measurement and reporting of event outcomes and support the execution of event-related campaigns.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Event Measurement and Reporting: Assist in collecting data and preparing reports on event performance metrics, helping to analyze the effectiveness of each event. Salesforce knowledge and experience preferred.

  • Campaign Support: Work closely with the marketing team to coordinate and execute event-related marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with Twilio’s overall marketing strategy. Build email and digital marketing for event promotion and post-event nurture campaigns, including writing emails and ad copy, creating assets, and building target audiences.

  • Event Logistics Support: Provide logistical support for various events, including registration management, setup, and coordination of event materials.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth operation and successful execution of events.

  • Sales Enablement: Build tools and communications that enable sales team to invite customers to and promote events. Align with sales enablement team members on company-wide messaging to sales through presentations and communications.

  • Administrative Tasks: Handle administrative tasks related to event management, including scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

Not all applicants will have skills that match a job description exactly. Twilio values diverse experiences in other industries, and we encourage everyone who meets the required qualifications to apply. While having “desired” qualifications make for a strong candidate, we encourage applicants with alternative experiences to also apply. If your career is just starting or hasn't followed a traditional path, don't let that stop you from considering Twilio. We are always looking for people who will bring something new to the table!

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or related field.

  • Strong interest in event management and marketing with a desire to learn and grow in this field.

  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with event management software.

Desired:

  • Digital marketing campaign experience

  • Email marketing experience

  • Software experience in: Canva, Salesforce, Tableau

  • Provide 1-2 writing samples that demonstrate an ability to distill complex information
