Our mission on the Advertising Product & Technology team is to build a next generation advertising platform that aligns with our unique value proposition for audio and video. We’re seeking a Content Designer to join the dynamic and innovative Ads design team. This is a mid-level role focused on writing clear, direct UX copy within the Spotify Ads Manager interface and consumer-facing ad formats. We need someone skilled at aligning language across a global organization and developing systems that scale content standards from engineering through to business marketing.

You’ll use content strategy, storytelling, and UX writing principles to make complex ideas simple and meaningful. This role is ideal for someone with foundational experience who’s ready to take ownership of projects and contribute to design systems and strategy.

What You'll Do

  • Write clear, concise, and actionable copy (UX writing and microcopy).

  • Adapt writing for different audiences and contexts.

  • Apply content standards and style guides effectively.

  • Write persuasive copy that drives user action.

  • Align product writing to exisiting tone of voice and content frameworks

  • Create simple wireframes and user journeys to communicate content flow.

  • Edit Figma files and prototypes to align with design intent.

  • Structure navigation and assign semantic hierarchy to content elements.

  • Identify key audiences and user needs, and create solutions that meet those needs.

  • Apply accessibility and inclusion principles in content design.

  • Classify content types for organization and analysis.

  • Conduct content audits and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Plan and execute A/B tests to measure performance.

  • Analyze data to evaluate content success and inform recommendations.

  • Facilitate workshops and group conversations to achieve conceptual alignment.

  • Manage and influence key stakeholders effectively.

  • Communicate ideas clearly and respond thoughtfully to feedback.

  • Use empathy and narrative structure to communicate persuasively and clearly.

Who You Are

  • You have 3+ years of experience in content design, UX writing, technical writing, or a similar role, with a portfolio showcasing strong content design skills. Experience within the advertising industry or working on a digital ad platform is preferred.

  • You have a strong interest in Artificial Intelligence and a desire to learn and grow in this rapidly evolving field.

  • You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, user-friendly language.

  • You have a proven ability to develop and execute content strategies that align with business objectives and user needs.

  • You are a highly collaborative and adaptable team player who can work effectively with diverse cross-functional teams.

  • You have problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing content challenges.

  • You have meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality, error-free content.

  • You are adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • You have a strong portfolio demonstrating your content design process and impact.

Where You'll Be

  • We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! For this role, you can be within the Americas region as long as we have a work location.

  • This team operates within the U.S. Eastern time zone for collaboration.

The United States base range for this position is $118,623.00 - $169,462.00, plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays. This range encompasses multiple levels. Leveling is determined during the interview process. Placement in a level depends on relevant work history and interview performance. These ranges may be modified in the future.
