Join our Financial Investigation Unit (FIU) and start shaping the future of financial compliance in the crypto industry! The FIU plays a vital role in ensuring that Kraken meets its regulatory requirements by utilizing cutting edge tools and techniques. to detect, prevent and report suspicious financial activity. We protect Kraken and the crypto industry from bad actors to drive mainstream adoption of cryptocurrency and the technology.
This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals who excel in a fast paced dynamic environment, are a critical thinker and have good attention to detail. If you are ready to take on this challenging and impactful role, we look forward to your application.
The opportunity:
Efficiently and accurately input Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) / Suspicious Transaction Reports (STR) data into various government websites.
Review SAR/STR data for accuracy and completeness
Check data contained in SAR/STR against internal databases to confirm accuracy
Manage case queues and provide timely responses to all stakeholders
Effectively communicate with investigators and other stakeholders
Provide quality control (QC) feedback on investigators work product
Conduct translation of SAR/STR from English to local language
Effectively navigate various government website portals
Skills you should HODL:
You have experience managing a diverse portfolio of clients, ideally in the financial industry where you have proven to be a pro in client retention
Experience handling high net worth clients and engaging with business partners at all levels of an organization
Exposure to crypto trading systems where you have learned advanced trading features such as margin trading, OTC, futures, etc
Passion about the cryptocurrency world and most importantly a learning attitude about new crypto-industry trends
Fluent at a native speaker level of both English and German
Ideally based in German speaking Countries and part of the local crypto community
Believe wholeheartedly in the crypto, cypherpunk, libertarian values of Kraken described in our Tentaclements document
