Summary

The Community Impact Coordinator will play a pivotal role in PosiGen’s efforts to strengthen community connections, support local campaigns, and drive lead generation through strategic events and partnerships. This dynamic role involves coordinating in-person and virtual events, supporting customer communications, managing creative materials, and assisting public policy advocacy initiatives—all with the goal of enhancing community trust, advancing public policy goals, and boosting our sales pipeline.

Essential Job Functions

Event Coordination and Management

  • Serve as the central event coordinator, collaborating with Sales and Community Impact Managers to plan and execute community events across markets.

  • Organize and lead the Event Committee structure to ensure alignment and success.

  • Manage budgets for events and materials, ensuring cost efficiency and tracking all related expenditures.

  • Coordinate event material needs, including inventory management, in partnership with the marketing team.

  • Track, analyze, and report on event-related results and other key metrics to measure impact and improve future efforts.

  • Other duties as assigned by leadership

Community and Partner Engagement

  • Support the onboarding and organization of affinity partners by creating and coordinating supporting materials.

  • Facilitate direct outreach to partners, advocates, and customers to mobilize them for public policy advocacy campaigns in collaboration with the Public Policy team.

  • Assist in developing and managing communications, including email and mail outreach to PosiGen’s 30,000+ customers, to drive engagement and foster strong relationships.

Creative Asset Development

  • Act as the central coordinator for creative asset requests, such as flyers, blog posts, signage, and invitations, to support events and campaigns.

  • Partner with the Community Impact team to expand the visibility and impact of events through effective marketing collateral.

Process Improvement

  • Identify and implement improvements to streamline event coordination and creative asset production.

  • Develop and document standard operating procedures for consistent and efficient event and material management.

Competencies

  • Demonstrates enthusiasm, a big-picture mindset, and a “can-do” approach to challenges.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple events and activities simultaneously.

  • Articulate communicator with excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills.

  • Skilled in moderating online and in-person conversations, fostering engagement, and building trust.

  • Focused on achieving measurable outcomes, including maximizing leads and sales opportunities.

  • Takes initiative to solve problems, improve processes, and exceed expectations.

  • Passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and creating meaningful community connections.

  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Google Workspace tools preferred.

  • Holds high personal and professional standards, demonstrating integrity in all actions.

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent work experience in a related field.

  • Two years of experience in a community-based nonprofit, marketing, outreach, or event planning role highly preferred.

  • Proven experience in developing and executing community events required.

  • Bilingual skills are highly valued and considered a plus.

  • Must possess a valid state driver’s license and have reliable transportation.

  • Willingness to successfully complete the pre-employment screening process.

Physical Demands

The physical requirements outlined are essential for performing the core duties of this role.

  • Regular responsibilities include speaking, listening, standing, walking, using hands for handling or feeling, and reaching with arms.

  • Occasionally, the employee may need to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Lifting and moving objects up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 40 pounds occasionally is required. Vision requirements include close, distance, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
