Atmosera is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer – Migration Specialist to lead an Azure tenant-to-tenant migration. This role focuses on planning and executing a migration of Azure resources, identities, and workloads with precision and minimal disruption. You will work closely with stakeholders leverage tools such as Azure Resource Mover and best practices for identity and RBAC planning and migrating.
Role Responsibilities
Plan and execute Azure tenant-to-tenant migrations, including subscriptions and resources.
Perform pre-migration audits of IAM, RBAC, Entra ID configurations, and networking settings.
Develop migration strategies for workloads, including test, non-production, and production environments.
Utilize Azure Resource Mover and other migration tools to ensure seamless transitions.
Recreate and configure landing zones, DNS zones, and security groups in target environments.
Coordinate mailbox, SharePoint, and OneDrive migrations across tenants.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and minimize downtime.
Required Skills / Experience
Expertise in Azure tenant-to-tenant migration methodologies.
Proficiency with Azure Resource Mover and related migration tools.
Strong knowledge of identity management, RBAC, and Entra ID configurations.
Experience with workload migration planning and execution.
Familiarity with DNS, networking, and Azure Virtual Desktop settings.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve migration issues efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications
Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure Administrator Associate.
Hands-on experience with large-scale enterprise migrations.
Knowledge of compliance frameworks and governance best practices.
Experience with automation tools and scripting for migration tasks.
This is a contractor position in the United States with the ability to work from home but may require travel to a client site.
