About the role
Coalition is seeking an experienced, relationship-oriented professional to join our team as a Client Executive supporting clients and partners across Germany and the European market.
In this role, you will build and strengthen long-term relationships with strategic clients and brokers, helping organizations realize the full value of Coalition’s cyber insurance and security capabilities. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to understand business priorities, provide strategic guidance, and ensure a high-quality client experience. The ideal candidate brings significant experience in account management and client engagement within commercial insurance, strong executive presence, and the ability to engage credibly with senior stakeholders across complex organizations.Working closely with Allianz and key account managers, you will also help identify opportunities to expand Coalition’s cyber solutions within Allianz’s client portfolio.
This is a full time, remote-first position, that can be based anywhere in Germany.Responsibilities
- Build and manage strategic client relationships across Germany and Europe, with a focus on long-term partnership, retention, and growth.
- Develop trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, including Risk Managers, CISOs, CTOs, brokers, and executive decision-makers.
- Act as a trusted advisor by understanding client priorities and aligning Coalition’s solutions to their business needs.
- Lead stewardship and account review meetings, providing insights, performance updates, and strategic recommendations.
- Manage post-sale relationships through strong partnership, planning, and consistent execution.
- Partner closely with Allianz and key account managers to identify opportunities and support cross-sell initiatives within Allianz’s client base.
- Develop account plans to deepen relationships, improve client outcomes, and support portfolio growth.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with underwriting, claims, distribution, operations, and customer success teams to deliver a seamless client experience.
- Monitor account performance, identify risks and opportunities, and implement action plans where needed.
- Represent Coalition in client meetings and industry events across Germany and Europe.
Skills and Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in account management, client relationship management, broker or carrier relationship management, or a comparable external-facing role within commercial insurance.
- Demonstrated success managing strategic client or partner relationships in the insurance market.
- Ability to engage credibly with senior stakeholders, including Risk Managers, CISOs, CTOs, and executive leaders.
- Strong understanding of the commercial insurance landscape and client relationship management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in both German and English.
- Strong commercial judgment and the ability to balance client relationships with business outcomes.
- Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment.
- Willingness to travel across Europe as required.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with Allianz or other multinational insurers, brokers, or distribution partners.
- Knowledge of cyber insurance or technology E&O insurance.
- Experience leading executive reviews, stewardship meetings, or strategic account planning.
- Experience supporting multinational or pan-European clients.
- Established network within the German commercial insurance market.
