About the role
As the VP Sales & CS (or Chief Sales Officer based on experience and level), you will lead and manage our Sales and Customer Success teams. You will guide our Enterprise Account Executives to achieve outstanding results, develop and execute Federal sales strategies, oversee partnerships and customer retention, and ensure exceptional customer experience. This key leadership role requires strong sales acumen, a data-driven mindset, proven managerial skills, and the ability to drive revenue growth in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do: Within 3 months, you will:
Set clear objectives, goals, and revenue targets for each team and ensure they are aligned with the overall business objectives.
Build strong relationships with key enterprise clients, understanding their needs and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
Develop and mentor team members, provide regular coaching and feedback, and promote professional development.
Within 6 months, you will:
Collaborate with Marketing to develop targeted lead generation campaigns and optimize lead conversion rates.
Collaborate with internal teams, including Marketing and Product, to develop joint value propositions, marketing collateral, and sales enablement tools for partners.
Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the Federal sector, including identifying target markets, establishing go-to-market plans, and building relationships with key decision-makers.Develop and mentor team members, provide regular coaching and feedback, and promote professional development.
Within 9 months, you will:
Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships to drive business growth and expand market reach.
Foster a high-performance sales culture encouraging collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Exceed revenue targets and contribute to the company’s overall growth and success.

What You’ll Bring
Experience with multi-channel ownership (1 additional channel aside from direct sales - potentially in: Partnerships, Customer Success, Delivery, International)
Proven experience as a successful sales leader, preferably in a high-growth technology company, and been part of a company from series B+
Strong track record in managing and motivating sales teams, achieving sales targets, and driving revenue growth.
In-depth knowledge and understanding of enterprise sales cycles and the Federal sales landscape.
High learning velocity- have they had to innovate and create and experiment in their career/sales processes/strategies
Prior experience selling to a technical buyer
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
Proficiency in utilizing AI tools such as ChatGPT or equivalent digital assistants, applying them effectively within your work context.
