About Shopsense AI:
Shopsense is an AI powered retail media platform that unlocks commerce and advertising for TV broadcasters and streaming customers. Content inspires shopping journeys (e.g. Yellowstone has driven the rise in cowboy fashion) but viewers are going to TikTok, Google and Amazon to shop. Broadcasters use our mobile second-screen shopping experience to make it easy for viewers to move down the funnel without disrupting their favorite movies, shows and live sports.
We launched our first retail stores with Paramount Global (AdAge) and Univision (Variety) in April with additional customers coming online throughout the summer.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Chief Product Officer (CPO) to lead the Shopsense’s product strategy and roadmap. The CPO will play a critical role in shaping the future of Shopsense, driving industry-defining innovations, and ensuring we invent new solutions to aggressively pursue the opportunity in front of us.
This executive will be responsible for defining and executing our product roadmap to deliver a world-class
commerce solution at the intersection of AI, Retail Media, and Content.
Key Responsibilities:
End-to-end owner of the Shopsense product
Obsess over our customers’ problems and content driven shopping journeys and over inventing new solutions that delight our customers
Scale Shopsense’s capabilities through automation and AI, not headcount
Effectively balance depth of thought and speed
Execute high judgement decision while navigating ambiguity at every turn
Provide metrics driven definition of what success looks like for product investments
Collaborate with internal commercial, engineering and operations stakeholders
Successfully represent Shopsense in front of external executives
Required Qualifications:
Experience leading early-stage product orgs
Experience building industry leading e-commerce and/or streaming TV technologies
Experience developing complex enterprise technologies at scale
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications:
High “marathon pace” comfortable grinding for sustained periods
Track record of successfully navigating ambiguity with industry defining stakes
